Welcome to FIREDOG, home of The Original Standard, Pipe & Tobacco Pouch. All of my items are my own, original designs .
When I started business in 2010, I couldn't find a quality, reasonable price leather pipe pouch. So, I started making my own. At the time, I was a full-time, furniture maker and, sitting in my woodshop one day.
The first versions of my pipe pouch were rough, but, from showing them to my online pipe forum buddies, getting their feedback, and through lots of trial and error, I eventually came up with the "roll up" design for The Standard, and something clicked. Suddenly, I was getting enough orders that I had to choose between making furniture, and making pipe pouches. The choice was easy (although, woodworking is still a hobby : )
Since then, this design has apparently struck a chord with the pipe community, and, most importantly, with people, like yourself, looking for good quality, leather pipe and cigar accessories that not only look and feel good, but are unique and are built to last forever.

Our Mission
While we try to fill the needs and hands of the pipe smokers community, we also do our best to keep the pipe making process an art of form, not to be commercialized and machine made.
Before we even begin the design process, we at Firedog take the time to hand pick every piece of leather we use. The quality of our product is our number one priority. We want the name "FIREDOG" to be synonymous with excellence. More than synonymous—we want them to be one and the same. In fact, when you think "Quality, Reliability, Versatility, or Style", we want you to think "FIREDOG"
